Terms of Use & Refunds

These terms govern your use of Photo & Video Doctor ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not install or use it.

1. What the app does

Photo & Video Doctor finds duplicate and similar photos and videos in the folders, drives and Photos libraries you choose, and helps you remove the copies you do not need. It runs entirely on your own computer.

2. License

The app is licensed, not sold. Scanning and reviewing results are free, and the free version can clean up a limited number of files. A Pro license, bought once with no subscription, removes that limit. One license can be active on up to 3 of your own computers at a time; you can move it by deactivating a computer in the app. The app is available for macOS now; when the Windows and Linux versions are released, the same license works on them. Pro includes all updates to the current major version. You may not resell, share publicly or circumvent the license.

3. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record, which also handles sales tax and invoices.

30-day money-back guarantee. If the app is not right for you, ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase — no questions asked. Email support@photovideodoctor.com from the address you bought with, or contact Lemon Squeezy directly. The refund goes back to your original payment method; depending on your bank it can take up to 10 days to appear. Once a purchase is refunded, its Pro license is deactivated.

4. Your files

You decide what is removed. The app always keeps at least one copy of every file it groups, and it never removes anything without your confirmation: files are moved to the Trash and Photos items to "Recently Deleted", so you can restore them. Emptying the Trash or "Recently Deleted" is permanent. Keep backups of files that matter to you; you are responsible for reviewing what you choose to remove.

5. No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that it will find every duplicate or that it is free of errors.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data or other indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
